The new intermedia is a single medium that blurs the distinctions between music, movies, tv, games, books, and radio. It is liquid, slippery, fast, adaptive, and transparent.
In this new world copies are free and worthless, so value can be sold only by using the
intermedia to generate works that are better than free.
Kevin Kelly will present a framework for understanding these new “generatives.”
