Traditional media (and others) are now jumping to organize events to be more in contact with their audience but they still do it the "old way", not acknowledging the power of connecting both worlds (online and offline). Exploring the dynamics that influence a successful event is a key topic imho as social media becomes ubiquitous, the amount of useless info grows too. An interesting trend is that real life events are leveraging on social media and becoming more relevant than ever.
